Which Smart models are covered?

Factory build data is available for fortwo, forfour and EQ models, among others. Coverage varies by model year and delivery market — the free preview confirms availability for your exact VIN before you pay.

Does it cover Brabus editions?

Yes — Brabus factory editions are defined by their option set, which is recorded against the VIN. The build sheet confirms genuine factory Brabus equipment rather than aftermarket additions.

How are Smart option codes formatted?

Each factory-fitted option is recorded against your VIN as a short code with Smart's own description. The build sheet lists them all, including packages and market-specific equipment.

Do I need the VIN, or will the UK reg work?

Either works. For UK-registered cars the reg is enough — we resolve the VIN automatically. For imports or unregistered vehicles, use the 17-character VIN.

Is service history available for Smart?

Not currently — the Service History add-on covers selected manufacturers only. For Smart, the Factory Specification PDF is available on its own. See pricing for details.

Where does the data come from?

Directly from official manufacturer build records, keyed to your VIN — the same data a franchised Smart dealer sees. It can't be edited by a seller and doesn't rely on paperwork surviving.
